Syncing my iPod with my Outlook

I managed to get everything synced from Outlook to my ipod. However, when I went to check my calendar on my iPod, ALL of the information that I entered there had been deleted. So I'm wondering if I missed a step in making the transfer a two way connection? Any suggestions?

It could be that you needed to set up your Outlook sync first before creating Calender entries on the Touch. Once you set up the Outlook sync, it should be bi-directional after that.
