I have a 23" ACD w/ the ADC connector, so I'd like to re-use the Nvidia GeForce4 TI (it's an OEM version w/ the ADC out) in a G5 PowerMac. Will this card work in any of the current G5 towers?

Nope! Even if you cut the card up to make it fit, it would not supply power to your ADC port. Also there no QE support.
Thank you.
I remember the ATI 9800 cards out of the original Dual G5 2.0's could not be used in G4's (different tab configuration), and it required a 5V (?) power connection whereas the G4's PCI buss is 3.3V (I may have flipped flopped those voltages, can't remember now). I was thinking PCI voltage would be issue --- I totally forgot about the additional for ADC (monitor) power!
The Nvidia GeForce4 Ti has been a great performer, I'll miss it...

I know what you mean! I had a GF4Ti in my 533 (uped to a 1.2ghz) and it had better game play than my G5 2.0 with the 9650. I had to buy a 9800 card to get the same quality and speed of the 4Ti. That GF4Ti was one of the bast cards out!
That card made my Mac scream and play the newest games for over three years!

I tried the ATI 9800 128 MB card in Dual 1.42 FW 800 machine. That card was soooo hot. Head to head the Nvida and ATI were equal. Each had their high and low points, so I kept the Nvidia since it ran so much cooler.
Will the OEM Nvidia GeForce4 TI (4600) work in a G5?
