Display has gone X-ray

My cat was doing some typing on my computer, and then she laid on the keyboard for a while. We were watching a DVD. Then all of a sudden, everything turned x-ray. Every application is in this color. I've restarted, and gone into safe mode, and everything is fine, but when I restart, its back. Any ideas on this one??? Really annoying, and I can't do my work. Anybody, help a bro out. Muchos gracias.

Open the Universal Access pane of System Preferences, click on the Seeing tab, turn off White on Black, and drag the Contrast slider all the way to the left.
