Are the earbuds covered under warranty?

One of my earbuds on my iPhone 3G headset has just died for no good reason. Does anyone know if it's covered by my AppleCare warranty?

Everything in the box is covered by the warranty. Although I don't expect that they would replace the cleaning cloth, might have to wash that yourself.

Yes, they are covered under the same 1-year warranty as the iPhone itself (and if you purchase the AppleCare warranty extension, it applies to the earbuds as well).

yes, i just got mine replaced, and it was due to the rubber around the earbuds stripping off.
