How do I view iPhone pics on my PC?

The file type that the iPhone/Computer create when you transfer your pictures over is I believe a .jpg file.

If you are using a PC, the camera/scanner wizard is your tool.
If you are using a Mac, it is going to be iPhoto or Image Capture.

Another method is to get a Mac and just use iPhoto... 😉

The sync process does not import the pics from you camera roll to your computer.

You must import them as with any other digital camera.

Doesn't it appear as a device on My Computer?

Plug you iphone into your computer, open iphoto if it does not open automatically, then import the pics from your iphone.

Apple does not make iPhoto for PCs 🙂

Then open whatever photo software that you use.

I am having the exact same problem. It started after I installed 2.2 on my 3G and upgraded the Itunes to the latest version. Running XP Pro with SP3. I have tried everyhing I know and can't fix the problem. I have another PC that runs Vista and just for fun I opened up the Camera function on that computer and attempted to delete the photos and it worked fine. Thanks a lot website!
