I have the same passcode for my ipad and iphone, can I change one of them

I have the same passcode code for my ipad and iPhone, Can I change my ipad passcode and not my iPhone. both have the same apple ID

Certainly. The passcode that you use on one device has no bearing at all on the passcode for the second device. It has nothing to do with your Apple ID either.
