Maintaining the health of Apple Pencil

The usual suggestion about keeping the battery of a phone or laptop healthy is to use them to about 20%and then charge to full. But also not to leave the charger attached to the device once it is fully charged.

i never use the Pencil much. It is attachedto the ipad most of the time.

is this bad for the pencil in the long run?

should I try to run the battery down every now and then?

There is no supporting evidence either way.

Use the Pencil the way you wish.

Just DO NOT let the Pencil run down past 5-10% or 0% and leave the Pencil in that state!

Always, ALWAYS keep your Apple Pencil charged up to a decent amount of charge ALL THE TIME!

Even when storing the Pencil away from the iPad for weeks or months or even longer, you must check the charge in the Apple Pencil and keep it always charged to some decent charge level AT ALL TIMES!
