What troubleshooting have you done so far?

restored it, keep resetting it, got newest software update.
Did you install a new app before the freezing/crashing?
its been doing it since i got the phone a couple of weeks ago. when i got it i sync'd it and put all my apps from my ipod touch on to it. they were all fine on the touch which was running os4
It might be one of those apps from your touch. Did you try and restore as a new iPhone? Run it without any of the touch apps first.

why dont u take it back to apple store, they have a genius bar and thats why they're there for.... it would save u a lot of time and hustle. --i would!
