Does Apple support Canon printer PIXMA MP450 w/ Big Sur?
This printer worked, still 'works', but not with macOS 11.5. What's up?
iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.4

The last printer driver that Canon shows available for the PIXMA MP450 series was for OS X Lion and was last updated in 2014. These will not be supported in Big Sur, and Canon has long since abandoned support for this device on macOS.
There is no driver support for the MP450 in the 2017 Canon Printer Drivers v3.4 for macOS download.
There is (caveat emptor) driver support for the PIXMA MP450 in the GutenPrint for Mac package.
Consider a newer printer that appears in Apple's built-in AirPrint list of network supported printers that will need no vendor drivers.

You'll have to check with Canon to see if they have a driver for Big Sur 11.5.
Aaaahhhh, yeah, Thanks.
