The official rating is IP68, meaning that it can survive up to 19.6 feet (6 meters) of water for 30 minutes. See if you will exceed this limit. However, I personally do not recommend doing so as water damage is not covered by Apple. You can consider getting some specialised cases for this purpose. Hope this helps!
