Apple Weather app - change default

How can you set the Weather app to show precipitation as its main graph. It is still nowhere nearly as clear as Dark Sky was, but as that’s been killed off, there must be some way to improve on the Weather app default?

There are few settings for Weather app.


What you see is what you get, in the app itself and in the Settings > Weather settings.

Consider Charty app combined with Apple's Shortcuts app. A custom shortcut can get hourly precipitation chance & amount from a location and feed it into a Charty widget on your Home Screen. I don't have Charty, so here's just an example of a shortcut gettiing 24 hours of weather data:
