Hi I cannot delete an app from my Mac, the icon still shows under launch pad but the app is no longer listed under applications

What app?
The app doesn't show in my applications but the image shows on Launchpad.. It doesn't show the X to delete when I hold down option key either
I have never been able to get into the app to see if they have an uninstaller. I've been trying since Jan
This does show all of the files, even when I delete them the image stays in my launchpad
