A few days ago my iMack shut down and I can't turn it on. When I press the button there is apple sound and apple appears, after 2-3 minutes the computer shuts down. No letter shortcuts, start from another drive, reset etc do not work. Nothing works. the computer does not want to start. I replaced the memory, tried with another processor and nothing. Please advise something. Motherboard?

What do you mean "tried with another processor" and nothing?
iMac's are very difficult to service and throwing parts at an old iMac, is a waste of time and money.
This forum section is for iMacs made prior to 2006. Is yours that old?
iMacs have been in continuous production since 1998 in five broad families. We are blind without details from your as each family has its own troubleshooting steps.
And, trust me on this, you really do not want us to start guessing!! That gets bad fast.
So, holding Shift key at power up doesn't work?
Long shot... remove all RAM, hold power button in for 10 seconds, put RAM back in & try.
Maybe replace the clock battery (if there is one), and use the special startup key sequence to reset the PRAM?
