Siri music recognition not working since iOS 17 update

Siri music recognition was not working since iOS 17 update. I installed Shazam and Can now immediatly get song info displayed by Say; "Hey Siri, Name this tune." Function just like before only much quicker results!

Sir will not play a music track on my iPhone8 when asked. Until about two weeks ago I could ask Siri to play a music track from my library and it would. Now when I ask for example "Hey Siri play play Midnight Rambler by the Rolling Stones" all I get is "Sorry you'll need to continue in BBC sounds". If I ask the same question to Siri on my iPad it plays the track. Help and thought will be appreciated. Fred T

Siri won’t play songs that are not in my music library since updating to iOS 16 I updated to iOS 16 the other day, and now Siri will not play songs that are not in my music library, when my phone is connected to CarPlay. I am driving so I can’t open my phone to search for a song. If I ask for a song that has a similar title (or the same word in the title) to something in my library, Siri will play that. But if I ask for song that is not at all similar to a song in my library, Siri says “sorry that song is not in your Apple Music library”. Is this a bug in iOS 16 or do I need to update a setting?

Music app and Siri iPhone 14 pro automatically play music Siri will start working it’s getting too frequently is there any problem in os or what???

yep, I had to download Shazam as well since my iPhone can no longer recognize music. highly annoying of Apple.
