Can’t Facetime Even Though I’m Signed into Apple ID

Any update on this? I have the same issue

Commenting to get more eyes on this, I’ve been experiencing the same problem since the 17.4.1 IOS update.

Getting the same notification ‘asking me to sign into FaceTime’…why? I’m already signed in! Never had this issue before until update 17.4.1.

Apple products are definitely NOT as reliable as they used to be! 💯😕❌ So expensive to own their devices and this is what we get? Buggy updates that destroy product functionality?

tried using FaceTime on my iPhone and my iPad and I get the “need to sign in to Apple ID” message, but it dissapears when I try to do so. Unable to use it.

I just deleted my FaceTime app and reinstalled it and it seemed to solve the problem - for anyone still working on this. Not sure if it’s a temporary fix or not but it seemed to work.

I am having the same issue, I was on FaceTime with a friend and had to hang up and when I went to call back it gave me the same message as all of you and I’ve tried multiple times to fix it but nothing

I have the same issue. I put my friends phone number and it won’t let me do anything. It keeps saying that I need to sign in. I am already signed in with my Apple ID! Apple, please fix this problem. I will never be buying from you ever again.

Am having same issue with FaceTime and being asked to sign in even though I already am. Seems like this has been an ongoing issue for weeks! I’m switching to WhatsApp until they’ve solved it. Very disappointed.
