I’m having the same issue. The message says “Sign Into FaceTime with your Apple ID. Activate FaceTime to make and receive FaceTime calls.”
I have used FaceTime many many times before, and all of the sudden this is not allowing me to. I have restarted my phone, turned off FaceTime temporarily, then turned back on. Nothing is working. Thanks for help!
I’m having the same problem. “Sign in to FaceTime with your Apple ID”
and below it, “Activate FaceTime to make and receive FaceTime calls.” I’m signed into my Apple ID and this issue just started happening. There’s a button to sign in, but when you click it, nothing happens. FaceTime is enabled in settings.
Edit: it fixed for me. I just went onto Wi-Fi and it started working again. Not sure what happened but try going onto Wi-Fi
Glad you fixed it! I saw on a Reddit thread that it was because the person you were trying to FaceTime doesn’t have the app downloaded. That proved to be correct in my case! So if you run into it again, make sure the person you’re calling has it downloaded.
What is the EXACT error message you’re getting?
