remove obsolete email from Apple id

Thank you, but the email address I want to remove does not have a red circle (with a -). This is an address set up years ago to which I have no access and cannot receive any emails from. It really is obsolete, uncontactable, useless and anything else you can think of. There is therefore no useful purpose to its remaining there other than to confuse.
