iOS Version 17.4.1 - Sleep Mode Stuck and no tracking of sleep

When I wake up and turn off the alarm, the IPhone 14 Pro Max and the Watch 09 are still in Sleep Mode, until I turn them off in the pull down menu.

But what really puzzles me is that it is randomly tracking my sleep. It just has a flat line blue - in bed - instead of the sleep analytics.

I reset my watch and it fixed it for a few days but it is doing it again.

Any suggestions? Hopefully an update will come and take care of this.
