Prohibited Symbol Volume
I have this symbol and i also cannot slide the volume up on my panel. What is this? There are no working solutions for me in this page
My suspicion is the sound is muted on your Mac.
However, not knowing which model Mac you have or which MacOS you're running makes it difficult to provide more specific advice. (Both of these are available by clicking on the Apple menu-->About This Mac).
