Wake alarm on iPhone rather than on Apple Watch

I’ve seen this question asked before, but haven’t seen an answer on how to make this happen. I would love to wear my Apple Watch to bed, to track my sleeping. But when I do, the wake alarm does not sound on my iPhone and my Apple Watch does not wake me up.

I don’t want have to buy a stand alone alarm clock. Is it possible to have the alarm sound on my iPhone when I wear my Apple Watch to bed?
