Calendar entries on the Mac (Sonoma 14.4.1) get deleted and will not sync with an iPhone (17.4.1). Ditto for a/c's - iCloud, Gmail, Exchange / Outlook. Easier to enter data on a laptop versus a tiny phone. Yes, signed into the same iCloud a/c.

I guess "a/c" means "account" (not "air conditioner").
If so, you mention many types of accounts but fail to tell us exactly where your data is housed. If, for example, you house your calendar data in iCloud, it would appear the same on all your Apple devices (assuming your devices correctly recognize they need to use your iCloud calendar).
