Shortcuts cannot control home device

On my ipad I have a shortcut automation. When the battery is on 80 % it automatically has access to home and controls the switch from where the ipad is recharging ans turns it off. Works great I can even make another shortcut controlling home.

Trying to do the same on my iphone gives me a blank screen and nothing happens.

How is it my iphone will not access the homeapp from shortcuts?

I have similar personal automations in Shortcuts on both iPhone and iPad. The difference is that I send myself a reminder instead on controlling a smart plug.

Can you control the smart plug when using the Home app directly on the iPhone? Can you create a one line shortcut (not a personal automation) in Shortcuts to turn on and off the smart plug on the iPhone? This may help us understand where the problem is.
