Beats studio pro transparency not clear

I recently got my beats repaired because I was having an issue where by you whenever I had noise canceling or transparency mode on it would make a really weird sound, and it was causing the two modes to not work. Now it works fine since the repair in terms of the fact that there is no sound anymore and noise canceling works great but transparency mode doesn't sound much different to the off mode. I wouldn't have read too much into this but transparency mode used to be very clear. What can I do to fix this?
