Wondering which version of the Waze app you have installed on your iPad.

When I checked just now, the App Store iPad Version available is Waze Version 4.103

Eg: says: "What’s New

Saving time & avoiding traffic is even easier with this update:

Fixed a bug so you can still see your route even if you lose internet connection".

If you already have the up-to-date version of the app:

Check if your iPadOS is also the latest version:

If you wish, you can check if an update is waiting to be installed: Settings > General > Software Update

If the Waze app and iPadOS are both up-to-date, and you still have that GPS issue:

You may want to try restarting your iPad, (ie: deletes temporary files, re-establishes connections, may update recent setting changes, etc, and often restores order if something is not working as expected.)
