Ok so I renamed my MBP here:
And it put this on my desktop which I cannot delete:
It also put it in Finder in the Sidebar but there I can remove it:
Is there a way to delete the icon on the desktop?
Also it strangely did not change the name inside my Apple ID:
How can I do that? Can't seem to find a way to rename it.

See Finder Settings>Sidebar uncheck

The name seems to be correct meaning it's the same one I gave and the same one that is in the **** (sorry) Desktop icon that I want to remove but dunno how.
Also the device name in my Apple ID device list did not change at all and there seems to be no way to edit it.
Unfortunately this didn't remove the icon from the desktop!
I could customise the Finder sidebar even before that's no problem.
I also don't know why in my Apple ID devices the Mac name didn't change...
the examples you posted were showing that is what you named your boot drive.
to change the computer-name, open the Sharing panel.
The computer-name is in the box at the top. There may be an (Edit) button.
Oh ok I'm not in a hurry hehe as long as it does update on its own in time it's no problem.
Because signing out of my Apple ID is kind of a mess I had to do it years ago and yeah...nope!
But do you have any other idea as to how to remove the laptop icon from the Desktop?
It's a proper link...if I open it it brings me to the Finder and it contains my Mac HD and all!
It's like the same exact thing I have in my Finder sidebar which I want to keep instead.
It's just been linked to the Desktop once I renamed the computer. God knows why. I don't.
Ok so the comp icon on the Desktop has disappeared on its own when restarting my Mac.
The name in the Devices list in my Apple ID has updated itself on its own after a few days.
I guess all my issues are now solved!

The device-name of your Mac in your Apple-id list will take some TIME to get updated unless you do something like log out of your Apple-id and back in to pick up a changed device-name.
