iCloud Refresh Button

All these updates and what, not apple engineers always get it wrong... relay on "self updating" which never works properly.... Why did they get rid of iCloud Refresh Button, If I write a paper and need to present it and my computer or tablet did not automatically update in the last 2 hours on its own, we should have the power to manually refresh our iCloud Folder.... not sit thru forums trying to figure out remedies to acquire that file.... add a button and leave it...
