how do i change name of external ssd
I have 2 ssd that have the same name in disk utility. I would like to change the name of one of them, any suggestions?

Keep in mind if the volume in question has applications installed and an OS installed, the applications may lose their license registration when the volume is booted if the name of the volume is changed. Shortcuts may also need to be remapped.
Dismount one, and click on the name next to the dsk after selecting it in the left sidebar, below the Disk Utility window heading. The name will highlight with a rectangle around it allowing it to be named.
NTFS formatted disks do not allow editing.
