iMessage doesn't quit after switching back to Android

iPhone settings iMessage/Facetime turned off. Checked online to de-register my cellular number. Half my friends with iphones can text.. the other have, after a week keep sending iMessages. I don't get any of it.

I'm not sure what else I can do? Maybe because I have a MacBoook Pro on my Apple ID? But the laptop has no options to turn off iMessage on it.

Any help at all would be great.
