Combine lineout audio + usb speakers

does anyone know how i can play audio through the line-out of my mac mini which is connected to a subwoofer and USB speakers B&W MM-1 at the same time? The B&W's bass isn't too great. thanks!

Hi Gregory Chan,

Have you tried creating an Aggregate Audio device?

1) open Audio MIDI Setup:
go to the dock
click on finder
go to the menu bar
click on the go menu
choose utilities
double click on Audio MIDI Setup

2)create an aggregate audio device
click on the "+" button
from the list on the right check the usb sub woofer and also check line-out

3) set aggregate audio device as audio output:
apple menu
system preferences
audio
audio out tab
choose the aggregate as the output device

good luck,
-tt

Gregory, I'm doing the same thing. I have the B&W MM-1's and I have an Altec subwoofer set up on line-out. In OS 10.7 Lion, you need to follow TeenTitan's advice on how to open Audio MIDI Setup, then set up a "Multi-Output Device". You won't be able to control volume on this source from the keyboard anymore, so I usually use Rogue Amoeba's SoundSource to switch between the sources once I have the volume right.
