How do I store files on ipad 2 without using a cloud server? I am concerned about security of cloud servers like dropbox or mobile me.

I have a 64 gig iPad 2 - plenty of room to store excel or word files. I want to avoid having to use a cloud server for storage - concerned about security. Is the a way to use the internal available storage on my iPad to access and utilize these files?

Two easy solutions are to email documents to yourself and then move them to the iPad application you want to access them with or connect the iPad to your computer and drag the files to iTunes and let iTunes sync the files to the iPad.
