My husband bought me a iphone 4 from USA, but can not used in Malaysia, after I inserted the local simcard, it shows invalid SIM.of course he did not sign any package there, which was bough in a non package price. how to unlock?

All iPhones sold in the US are locked to either AT&T (GSM model) or Verizon (CDMA model). Neither provider offers unlocking, for any reason.

The options aren't great: Sell the iPhone. Return it to the point of purchase for a refund. Search google for methods of unlocking. Please note, these methods won't be sanctioned by Apple.

Your husband wasted his money. ALL U.S. iPhones are carrier locked and the carriers do not offer unlocking at this point in time.

Try to return it and get your money back if you're within the return window. If not, sell it and purchase one designed to work in your region.
