iPad to Bravia wifi connection

If it can be done, you would need an iPad App. I suggest you contact Sony customer service and see if they have or know of one.

I don't know if Airplay would be of any use, but you might look into that.

Unless the TV supports AirPlay specifically, AirPlay won't work.

You need an AppleTV or download from app store DNLA apps, they are free. There is a decent one called "iMediaShare" 😉

Another possibility is to search in the Sony TV configs, there should be an option to connect devices wirellesly.

There are more options, but this are the better ones.
