keyboard does not show up for typing password to update apps

Question

I cannot update apps on my iphone because the keyboard does not show up for typing my password.

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1

Have you tried doing the update from your computer via itunes, then sync it over to the iphone?

Try resetting the device...

Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Now tap the App Store icon then tap Updates in the navigation menu bottom right side of the iPhone screen.

Thank you pvonk,

I was able to get the updates via my computer.

If I have this problem next time there are updates to download, I will try solution from Carolyn - it restting the device.
