I'm on the safari on tumblr and it just exits and goes to the home screen out of no where?
Can anyone help me please?

If you are certain that is not the Tumblr server, you probably have a weak wifi signal.
1. Shut down programs running in the background
2. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
The app isn't "exiting"... it's crashing. That's been happening to me a lot lately as well and not just with Safari. Even with a strong signal and no other apps running in the background and these other people have commented.
As someone else said Safari is crashing. There are many ongoing threads about this. Ever since iOS5 Safari crashes frequently on the iPad. From what I've read it's happening on both iPad versions, I have the original and it happens frequently. Prior to iOS5 Safari rarely if ever crashed. There has been a lot written about this so hopefully Apple will have a software fix soon for this.
