You are best placed to answer that. Photos, videos, music and some apps are be the biggest users of space.

Buy the biggest you can afford and bear in mind that you can always transfer/store your data on a computer and sync it back into the iPad in exchange for other data if you are running out of space.

16GB is adequate for most users. If you want to store a lot of photos, videos & movies get a 32GB or 64GB model. Once you have bought a model, the size can't be increased.

I would go with the 32GB model. I always say, 16 is not enough and 64 is too much 🙂

You can get by on a 16. That's waht I have. I have 4 movies, several hundred documents, a couple of albums and some apps and still have about 3 gig free.

Your average movie is 3-4 gigs, average song 3-5 megs, average album 50 megs or so (depending on quality, length, etc)

IMHO, if you can swing it, go for the 32, but you can get by on the 16, you just can't 'hoard' large data. (I've had my iPad for months and never even watched any of the movies I have on it, nor have I listened to any of the albums, but I use the documents/surfing etc all the time)

With a 16 you may need to be more active managing your data, with a 32 you'll have plenty of room to keep stuff, with a 64 you'll likely fill it up wtih tons of stuff you'll never access. Your call and your money.
