what's the best QR Code reader for iPhone 3G?

I've downloaded a couple of different QR Code readers from the App store, but so far they don't "read". Either my iPhone's camera is too ancient or I haven't found the right reader app. Any suggestions?

iPhone 3G, iOS 4.2

I am not using a 3G, but I have tried out many QR code readers for my iP4.

I settled on i-nigma as it was fast, and worked well.

Also it does not jump to websites or links, but prompts what to do.
