Recently I haven't been able to receive calls on my iphone 4 while the screen is locked - I only find out I've been called when I unlock it and it says 'missed call' . I also haven't been getting all my texts and don't know if this is due to the same problem. Any ideas appreciated!

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore,first from backup then as new. have you tired any of this?
Not yet - just wondered if I was missing something obvious first. What should I reset? The network settings?
yes can can try the network settings first,if that doesnt help,you can restart the phone by pressing the on/off button and the home button together,keep holding until you see the apple logo re-appear,then let go.let me know how you get on.
you will also have to get someone to ring you back,to see if the problem has been resolved.
