Green = Text message... SMS

Thanks, that answered my question. Can an iMessage be sent to someone that doesn't have an iPhone, iPad or iPod? Or is that message sent as a text each time?
iMessage only works on iOS devices, i.e. the iPad, iPhone and Touch. Messages sent to other devices are sent as regular SMS/MMS texts as per your text messaging plan with your carrier.
