My ipod was acting weird by closing out of apps and cydia for no apparent reason so I decided to do a restore. I saved my apps from my springboard as well as cydia. Now itunes will not restore. I did all the apple supports tips to correct the issue, however this is not working. Please someone help me. I love my ipod.

Jailbreaking frequently cause problems and can brick an iPod. It violates Apple's warranty and also means that you will not get any support from Apple including from this Apple forum.
do NOT bring this into here apple cannot help you with that. no matter how bad the problem is.
Have you tried restoring it from both the device and your computer. I believe you can remove cydia very easily from the app itself. However cince you jailbroke it you have voided the warrenty, so your friends at the apple store can't help you.

Your decision to hack may have already corrupted your iPod. Try Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 and DO NOT attempt to jailbreak again, if you really "love your iPod."
