Any one know where audio books are stored on the computer?

I recently downloaded one and its fine on my iphone, but i cannot find it anywhere on my computer???

MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Did you buy the audiobook from the iTunes Store? If so, how did you download it, directly from your iPhone or though iTunes on your computer?
