My iPad2 apps, pics, emails, keep opening closing on their own. Screen jumps from side to side.

My iPad2 opens and closes apps, emails, photos so fast all on its own while I am trying to play a game, be on a web site on Safari or playing a game and it starts doing this screen changing, jumping for side to side. I have brought my iPad2 up to date, then backed up on iTunes site, restored first 'Not As New' and second time 'As New'. Now I have lost all my photos and my iPad2 is still doing the same thing. It is 8 mths old, and has been doing this periodically for 2mths now and for past week continuously making it impossible to use. I have no control of any app, emails, Safari. Help!!
