how do i remove emoji 2 from contact list

Go to Contacts, select the emoji 2 contact, tap on "edit" in the top right, scroll all the way down, and tap on "Delete Contact"

Unfortunately, contacts can only be deleted one at a time.

Try this: Sync your Contacts to your iCloud account, then go to www.icloud.com and log-in. If you click on the Groups bookmark (tab at top) so you have your groups-if-any at the left, click on All Contacts.

Now, find the first occurrence and click on it, then go to the last occurrence and Shift-Click on that one. You should have all the occurrences selected. Then click the Actions Menu at the bottom of the page, and Delete (or just press Del on your keyboard).

I've not tried it but it looks like it oughta work.

If you use emoji2 as an app, open the app and click on Add/Remove Emoji 2. Scroll to the bottom to remove emojis from your contacts. Approve access to your contacts and it will take a few minutes to remove all the added emoji contacts.

May I just ask which emoji 2 app, you downloaded? I also have this problem but I couldn't remember which one I used and I have deleted the app.

If you've deleted the app and don't have a back up on your computer, you won't be able to download it again as all of the Emoji apps have been removed from the App Store.

I had this problem, i opened iCloud, selected all the emoji contacts, then clicked the cog wheel at the bottom left and clicked delete, it then deleted them all in one go.

That worked in iCloud, but not my device. Is there something else that needs to be done?

I see that you've done this recently. I can't seem to figure out where to find this. I've tried downloading the apps, but they don't have the turn off option.
