iOS 4.1 to 4.2.1 on Iphone 3G Model A1241

hello Sir,

I want to ask something about my Iphone 3G iOS 4.1 (8B117) with Modem Frimware 6.15.00 jail broken and carrier unlocked.I have 2 problems with this phone very slow speed and poor gps reseption.

I want to update/restore my Iphone 3G with iOS 4.2.1 (8C148) is it ok and after update/restore i again need to jailbreak and carrier unlocked ? and are they avalible and please also advise me will this change my Modem Frimware too or it will remain same 6.15.00?

Your having problems because your phone is jailbroken. which voids your warranty with apple and it's against the forum term of service to provide any help for jailbroken phones.

Yes, I'm sorry. Your phone has been jailbroken, and an iPad baseband has been installed to provide a carrier unlock solution. This violates your warranty, and prevents us from providing you with any support on how to upgrade to 4.2.1 with a 6.15.00 Baseband. (Google)
