I lost my iPhone but I'm not able to track it with find my iphone because it is on airplane mode. Is there any way to remotely take it off airplane mode, or turn on my service/internet so that I can track it?

unfortunately, no. if it wasn't on airplane mode it would be fine, because the iPhone's GPS antenna would track it down. but as it was on airplane mode, it means that all of the antennas were off, so the GPS one was too.
