any difference between iphone 5 black and white

Same phone, different colors.

The top and bottom on the back of the white iPhone 5 is made out of ceramic glass. The top and bottom on the back of the black iPhone 5 is made out of pigmented glass.

The gentleman asked whether there is a difference. Not whether there was a difference in hardware or software or capabilities, but a difference in general. Regardless of color, pigmented glass differs from ceramic, therefore yes, there is a difference.

Do you happen to know if there is a difference in the feel of it or if the difference in glass plays a part in how durable it is?

Am I seeing things or is there an extra microphone or speaker hole on the white iphoneV?

It is there in both the black and white iphones. You just cant see against the black of the black iphone. Shine a light on the area and you can see the hole faintly. It is the proximity sensor, used when you talk on the phone held to your ear.

i believed ever since there is difference between the white & black iphone ... the white is automatic detection means if some1 is calling you & you put already in your ear the white iphone automatically turn off the light while in the black no...thats why the black is easily get hot 😉

That is not true. The only difference between the white and black iPhones is the color.

I got my black one in November and my wife just got hers in March, I noticed that hers seems noticeably lighter. It drives me crazy!!
