My iPhone 4S, freshly updated to iOS6, keeps restarting with dimmed display when I try to move Passbook app to my third (or any other) screen?
I repeated this 7 times so far, it happens every single time!!!
Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong?

try doing a hard reset (hold the power and home buttons together for 15s) then trying again
or you could try something silly like adding passbook to a folder moving the folder to another screen then taking it out of said folder
my just-updated-to-iOS 6 iPhone 4 crashes and restarts when i move ANY app to another screen
My iPod did the same thing just wait a little while pass after the update and restarted your iphone
I did a full erase and reset, and the problem was gone for a while, but it happened again, once, at some random moment when I was moving an app icon again...
I found that moving an app more than 5 screens will cause a soft reset on my iPhone 4. The work around I found is to move the app only one screen at a time. Be sure to hit the home button (so the apps stop shaking) before moving it to the next screen. Hope this helps!
ahhhh, that did it! thanks. apple placed passbook on the first screen, moving one of my apps to a new second screen that had nothing on it but the moved app. i tried to just drag it to my last screen and that blew things up. moving it in steps did the trick.
This is still an undiserid behavior. We should be able to move icons freely 😟.
Agreed! It obviously a bug, and one that I hope Apple gets fixed asap.
I've tried the solution of moving one screen at a time and seems to be working. This seems an amazing bug to have missed on release, and still not to have fixed in 6.01. Dark days ahead for Apple if this is where their quality control is now.
This is happening to me on iOS 6 and 6.01 with an iPhone 4S.
Still a problem in iOS 6 ver. 6.0.2 in a 64GB iPhone 5 (Verizon).
Still working with iOS 6.0.1 (that's the current iOS for my iPad3) and yes, I'm getting the same issue. iPad will restart itself if I try to organise my apps. Haven't tried the "one screen at a time" workaround, but don't feel I should have to. Will post the problem up to Apple.
