Hi. Does anyone know why I can't get live stock quotes on my iPhone 5? The quotes were live on the iPhone 4, but they're delayed by 20 minutes on the new phone. Thanks for helping.

there was always a 20 minute delay on the stocks app - from the original iPhone - thats so it cant be used for stock speculation
Thx for responding, but I almost always had live stock quotes on my iPhone 4 (once in a while it would revert to a 20 minute delay). And, my daughter is getting live stock quotes on her iPhone 5. It doesn't make sense.
i have had every generation of the iphone from the original and he stock quotes are always delayed by 20 minutes
in the ios 6 manual it says
"Quotes maybe delayed by 20 minutes depending on the reporting service"
can you tell where your quotes are coming from - maybe that has changed - mine are from Yahoo
Hmmm, that's a really interesting point. I think my quotes are coming from Yahoo, too. It shows the Yahoo icon at the bottom of my stock quotes. Crazy thing is that today my phone is showing that my stock quotes are live...not delayed by 20 minutes! Of course, just last night I bought a $10 app that has live stock quotes! Isn't that always the way! Anyway, thanks so much for taking the time to help me.
