Recently I upgraded my iPhone 4s to IOS 6. Now I am a bit irritated that I can not see missed text/call/emails on my banner bar (top transparent black bar). I went into setting - notification and opened all the apps that i want to show up on my banner bar. I have restored my iphone and still no missed text/call/ect. on my banner. Please inform me on why this is or let me know how I can fix my mistake. Thanks for your time.
Missed call/text/email notifications will show in the notifications center. Place your finger in the top center of the screen, right over the clock and pull down. You'll see all of your notifications.

Thanks. I understand the whole notification pull down feature. What I want is to see the text bubble icon or the iphone icon on the top of my iphone banner.
That is not a feature of the iPhone.

The bubble and email icon are something different from what you first described, "top transparent black bar". Also, I cannot see the photo you refer to in your post. If you are asking about phone, the number in the red bubble is the badge icon, and that nees to be turned on in settings, notifications. The same applies for all other notifications you want to show on the lock screen You also need to turn on view in lock screen if you want to see them there.
The things you are showing in that picture are not available in stock iOS. This appears to be a screenshot of an iPhone that has been jailbroken and has other tweaks applied.
I know about jailbreaking and cydia. But I was wondering if IOS 6 took off the missed call/text/email icon on the top of the iPhone screen, same line where the carrier and batterie percentage is at.
As I said earlier, this is not a function of iOS. The only way for you to get this is to be jailbroken. If you updated your jailbroken phone, then it would have put it back into stock and yes, I guess you could say that removed those icons.
