iphone 5 camera lens stuck closed

My iphone 5 camera lens sticks closed after taking a picture. Originally it worked fine, I took 4-5 pictures before this happened. It takes 2-3 minutes to "unstick" the lens...it eventually releases after I've opened and closed the camera icon several times. The picture taken is not recorded/saved. While the lens was "stuck" I opened Safari to research the problem, but the keyboard in Safari wouldn't work. May be related?
