My Iphone 4s wont turn on unless plugged in

I got it just this last February and its worked perfectly until now. When its not plugged in, it wont turn on. When it is plugged in, the wifi button to turn on wifi wont work, and it says I have no service. The place at the top where it says your bars(phone service) and 3G or bars or wifi, that just says: "Searching...". The date and time are completly wrong too. It says its Wednesday, December 31st. Nothing was wrong with it until this morning, I'd like to find a way to have it work without having to reset it, if thats possible?
